Ranthambore National Park is one of the best places to explore different kinds of wildlife during a tiger safari. Jungle Safari is a major attraction and one of the most popular options to spot animal movement and admire the beautiful landscape in Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. Green Safari and Tours Ranthambore offers the visitor a chance to explore a variety of animals residing in the park. There are two safaris a day from October to June, one starting in the morning and the other late in the afternoon. The tour lasts 3 to 12 hours and is conducted by jeep (open-top roof gypsy) or canter (open-top roof bus). You will visit the park in a 20-seat open canter (top-roof bus) or a 6-seat open top roof jeep, both of which we have re-fitted and furnished for comfort and good viewing. Our trackers are from families who have known the jungle and its animals for generations.

It offers a unique wildlife experience to explore the park and enjoy the breathtaking vistas of the national park. Canter Safari is available in Ranthambore at two times: in the morning and in the afternoon.

The seating height of a Jeep is lower than a canter. Hence, it is a better vehicle to take photographs of wildlife, and it offers a better angle too. During a safari, a Jeep is easier to manoeuvre than a Canter.

Canter is an excellent safari alternative for individuals who like to enjoy the safari experience with others rather than riding in separate cars. The canter safari in Ranthambore guarantees that every member of the family or group has the same experience. If a group of people goes on safari in various cars, some of them may be lucky enough to spot tigers while others are not.

Note: During the weekends, holidays, and vacation season (from October to April), the park gets a high rush of visitors for the safari. As a result, it is best to reserve your safari seat in Ranthambore well in advance before visiting the park.
Safari Tips: Ranthambore
* The safari tourism zones 1–5 are very popular among tourists and considered the "core" of the park. It is only because of the high chances of wildlife sightings.
* Safari zones of Ranthambore National Park are closed from July to September during the monsoon season.
* The winter season, from October to February, is the most suitable time to visit the park.

Ranthambhore Animals:
Tigers, Leopards, Striped Hyenas, Sambar deer, Chital, Nilgai, Common or Hanuman langurs, Macaques, Jackals, Jungle cats, Caracals, Sloth bears, Black Bucks, Rufous-tailed Hare, Chinkara, Common Palm Civets or Toddy Cats, Common Yellow Bats, Desert Cats, Fivestriped Palm Squirrels, Indian Fal The amphibian species only consist of the common India toad and the common frog.
