Jeep Safari: The jeep has six seats in total, including the guide or driver; you can book them for a normal booking or a Tatkal booking. Online booking is also available for Jeep Safari in advance, at least 90 days before.

Canter Safari: The canter can accommodate 20 people, including a guide or driver. Similar to Jeep, the vehicle can be booked online at least 90 days in advance. It applies to people who are visiting the park in a large group.

Otherwise, there are two more ways to book a jungle safari in the national park: Normal Safari, Tatkal, VIP, or Just in Time Safari. However, half-day and full-day safaris are presently closed by the Rajasthan government. In Normal Safari, you have to book online, 90 to 120 days before visiting, and register with your details. You have to choose the zone online, and you are restricted to that zone only while on the four-hour safari tour. The Tatkal Safari, or VIP Safari, is the most expensive one out of all the types. It is applied to people who plan a safari tour at the last minute.

Ranthambore National Park
If you are a wildlife lover and willing to see them in their natural habitat, then come to Ranthambore National Park. It is the best place in India where you can spot majestic predators in their natural habitat. Ranthambore National Park, also known as Best Tiger-Friendly Land, is the largest and most renowned national park in northern India. If you want to spend a memorable time with friendly tigers, then this place is a must-visit.

This national park is located 170 km away from Jaipur. It is a perfect and peaceful place away from the busy cities. This site is the only large dry deciduous forest left in India that is intact. The park is structured like a bygone era. It is surrounded by many water bodies that provide perfect relief to forest inhabitants during extremely hot weather. This place has an incredible, interesting, unique, and mixed flavour of nature. Different species, flora, fauna, cliffs, hills, valleys, and plateaus make this place an ideal place for relaxing and enjoying.

A park is altogether a mind-blowing place. The climate and vegetation are both unique in themselves. There are around 320 species of birds found, which include both resident and migratory birds. Also, there are 40 mammal species and more than 35 species of reptiles, which is a major tourist attraction. Besides tigers, the park also has a variety of wild cats, like leopards, caracals, jungle cats, and rusty-spotted cats. Also, there are reports of fishing cats and leopard cats as well. Sambhar, wild boar, Indian wild cats, jackals, and extremely rare wolves are commonly found at this place. Because of the varied terrain and abundance of water bodies, an excellent population of birds, residents, and migrants is found here. This place is not favourable for amphibians, though, due to the dry climate. Tigers, which are known as the kings of this park, can be easily spotted even during the day while hunting or feeding their babies.

The Ranthambore National Park has a wide variety of flora. The availability of plenty of water made this place rich in both flora and fauna. There are around 300 types of plant species. Since the area belongs to that dessert, therefore, the place receives low rainfall. Due to this, there are more deciduous trees in this park. The place has perennial lakes, steps, hills, gentle slopes, plateaus, etc. And therefore, such a variety of plants are found in this place. The 80% of the area is composed of Dhok species. The leaves of Dhok are a favourite diet for deer, antelope, and ilgai. Other prominent trees are banana, pipal, and neem. The fruit plants include mango, jamun, and ber.

History of Ranthambore National Park
Ranthambore National Park is one of the most renowned and well-known tiger lands. It is the only and biggest national park in the world, with numerous types of species, flora, and fauna. The Ranthambore National Park got its name from the Ranthambore Fort, which is in the middle of the jungle. This fort witnessed the major history and changes of this park. Before independence, there was extensive forest cover on the Indian subcontinent. But with the increasing population and industrialization, the forest was badly exploited. And with the shrinking forest, the wildlife of the country also started shortening. This became a source of concern for the nation, resulting in strict rules and policies for Ranthambore Park. Ranthambore National Park was previously privately owned by the Maharajas of Jaipur.

Until 1955, it was an exclusive and popular hunting ground for Jaipur’s royal family. And after that, it was declared "Sawai Madhopur Sanctuary." But due to the constant fall in the numbers of tigers, in the year 1973, the sanctuary was declared under the project Tiger to protect the tigers. More strict policies and rules were formulated to make Project Tiger a success. And then the major rule came in the year 1980, when 282.03 sq. km of this sanctuary was declared a national park. After this, the collection of forest produce by the government was reduced. And then, in 1983, an adjacent north side of the land was named Kela Devi Sanctuary. Similarly, 130 sq km in 1984 were declared Sawai Mansingh Sanctuary.
